Established in 2017 in the bustling Fort area, and later expanding to Charni Road, our tea joint encapsulates the essence of authentic Indian Chai culture, modernized with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Dev Sanghvi, the visionary founder of Raju Ki Chai, embarked on this venture with a wealth of experience in the food and catering industry dating back to 2005. His deep-rooted passion for tea and keen understanding of the culinary world inspired him to reinvent the typical Indian roadside tea experience. He envisioned a place where the authenticity of a street-side Chai Tapri meets the standards of modern hygiene and customer comfort.
In 2019, the journey of Raju Ki Chai was further enriched when Sameer Sanghvi joined the venture. Bringing his own set of skills and enthusiasm, Sameer complemented Dev’s vision, together driving the brand towards new heights. Their combined expertise and passion are evident in every aspect of Raju Ki Chai, from the quality of the brew to the warmth of the service.
Currently, we proudly operate two outlets, one in Fort and another at Charni Road, allowing us to share our unique Chai culture and warm hospitality with a broader segment of Mumbai's populace. As the evening unfolds, these spaces become bustling hubs, drawing people from all walks of life to savor our signature Kesari Chai, RKC Special Chai, and various other flavors, each served in traditional Kullad (clay pots). Our culinary offerings extend beyond tea, featuring a delectable array of snacks such as the creamy Varanasi Toast with fresh malai, the hearty Jumbo Mumbai Street Sandwich, the unique Samosa Sandwich, the innovative Jain Burger, refreshing and healthy non-milk teas, alongside classics like French Fries and Maggi. I had a beautiful and delicioys cup of tea, served in a clay cup. Very happy with it and very happy with the friendly human being at the counter. I also bought a small bag of masala tea to repeat the experience at home later.
